This new generation thermostat is equipped with an integral proportional regulation and 2 sensors to compensate for temperature drifts. The TH108 surpasses the new CSA-C828 performance standards for electronic thermostats.

Not for use with a furnace / central heating forced air system.  Also can only be used with heaters without a fan. (Such as baseboard heaters) (Cannot control wall heaters because of the integral proportional regulation.)
